New Online Help Feature
Starting with the fall 2015 release, all the documentation currently available in PDF format will also be available from within Thermo-Calc and DICTRA via a new online help feature that is searchable and more user friendly.

Free NECD-NEA Nuclear Database
Last October we told you about a free nuclear database that was being developed in a joint project among 9 organizations, representing 6 member states that would be available starting last December. We received a tremendous response from users who were interested in obtaining this internationally recognised database, so we wanted to remind you about it now that it's available.

Free Educational Demo Package
In an effort to promote the teaching of computational materials engineering, Thermo-Calc Software offers a free educational demo package for teachers and students.
The package comes with a limited version of the software, select databases and exercises designed for the classroom. The teacher's version of the package also includes answers to all of the exercises. The software can be downloaded for free and is good for a full year.
The limited version of the software is different from the regular version in that only 3 components can be selected, whereas the full version can handle systems of up to 40 components.
